Wales/Westpac Ex-PNG/Pacific Staff Reunion
In 1901, the Bank of NSW opened a branch in Suva. It grew organically until 1988 when it acquired the operations of HSBC. HSBC had established the branch some 18 months earlier but the post-coup environment appeared unpromising.
Today Westpac employ around 450 team members across 19 branches.
