Wales/Westpac Ex-PNG/Pacific Staff Reunion
The Solomon Islands operation commenced when the first branch opened in Honiara in 1985.In 1988 Westpac also acquired the Solomon Islands Banking Corporation, a subsidiary of HSBC. HSBC had established the branch in 1973.
